yourbestinternet.com hosts pages for independent authorized retailers so that customers can compare and order internet service available at their address. The ordering tool on each page is provided by a third-party internet shopping service.

Information we collect when you visit a retailer page

IP address of the device you use to visit the page.
Device identifier: a random ID stored in your browser (local storage and a first-party cookie named ybi_did) so we can recognize repeat visits from the same device. It does not contain your name or contact details.
Approximate location (city, region, country and approximate coordinates) derived from your IP address.
VPN, proxy and hosting checks: we check whether your IP address belongs to a VPN, proxy or data-center network, using a third-party IP intelligence service.
Technical details: browser type (user agent), the page that referred you, the time of your visit, a session ID, and whether you interacted with the ordering tool.

Why we collect it

We use this information for fraud prevention: to make sure orders are placed by genuine customers and not by retailers or other parties on a customer’s behalf, and to protect the ordering service from abuse. We may temporarily limit access to a page when we detect patterns that suggest misuse.

We do not sell this information and we do not use it for advertising. We do not use analytics or advertising tags on this site.
